ASCI organises various curricular and extracurricular events such as conferences, workshops, competitions, management festivals, cultural programmes, get-togethers as well as sporting events for the students.

Sports

A gamut of sports and games activities are available for students like chess, tennis, table tennis, badminton, carroms, etc. Students are encouraged to use the on-campus gym facilities.

Collectives Startup

PG students in “Sustainable Collectives Management” (like FPOs, cooperatives, and decentralized green enterprises) involves bridging social impact with startup scaling. It transforms academic knowledge into market-ready ventures.

Core Objectives

Media Club ensures coverage of all academic and cultural events on the campus and outside.

Sustainable Collectives Network

PGDSCM students network with collectives – FPOs, Producer Companies, Cooperatives – enterprises. These can be agri-horti collectives dairy collective, women collectives, self-reliant financing collectives. These connections create valuable avenues for exploration, practicum internships, consulting projects, and job placements.
Students can use centralized databases to identify, research, and contact specific farmer collectives across India based on location, crop type, or operational scale.
Students can access MCA verified data on thousands of Farmer Producer Companies nationwide, making it easy to find established collectives for collaboration.
Students and agri-entrepreneurs can connect with FPOs to assist with value chains, technology adoption, and research.

Tata-Cornell Institute FPO Hub: Students can access Tata-Cornell Institute FPO Hub- An interactive, web-based dashboard mapping thousands of FPOs, offering deep data insights that are highly useful for academic and socioeconomic research.

Placements Committee

Placement committees (or “PlaceComs”) in B-schools act as a vital bridge between students and the collective enterprises, agri horti, dairy, and food business value chains, development cooperation promotion and support agencies. They oversee resume vetting, pitch candidates, and manage recruitment drives.

PlaceComs help secure placements in FPOs, cooperatives, and ESG-driven enterprises.

Placement committees focus on several core responsibilities:

Opportunity Mapping: Identifying and partnering with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), microfinance institutions, and rural development collectives.

Pre-Placement Talks: Organizing expert sessions, alumni talks, and corporate visits to sensitize students to grassroots realities and ESG goals.

Exploration, Practicum and Job Placements: Managing the entire recruitment process, from mapping student skills to job roles to finalizing practicum  internship stipends and job placement
